Devon L. Houck

Devon has been with the Ashe County Board of Elections since 2007. She was raised in Ashe County and attended Beaver Creek High School before she earned a Bachelors Degree in Communications from UNC Charlotte in 2002. She became a certified election official for the State of North Carolina in 2011.

Jennifer C. Shumate

Jennifer joined the Ashe County Board of Elections in October 2021. She is an Ashe County native and attended Ashe County High School. Jennifer graduated Appalachian State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in History.
