WAIVER OF COMPETITIVE BIDDING:

The County of Ashe Board of Commissioners will consider a waiver of competitive bidding under G.S. 143-129(g)(3) at its regular meeting that starts at 9 am on January 20, 2026 for the purchase of ambulances from Northwestern Emergency Vehicles, the seller having agreed to extend to the County of Ashe the same or more favorable prices and terms set forth in its contract with the Ashe County Sheriff’s Association entered into on June 18, 2025.  For further information, contact the Emergency Management Office at (336) 846-5521.
