Ashe County is seeking applications to fill a vacancy in the Emergency Medical Services Department as an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Director. This executive leadership position is responsible for overseeing all EMS operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, developing policies and procedures, managing personnel and budgets, coordinating with public safety partners, and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations. Applicants must exercise initiative and independent judgement. Employee must exercise tact, courtesy, and firmness in frequent contact with the general public. Employee is subject to the usual hazards of first response work. Salary range: $71,274.66 to $103,226.96 annually plus excellent benefits package.
