Ashe County Tax Administration is responsible for generating revenue through property taxes to be used in funding local county government. We identify all taxable property, determine an assessed value, prepare tax notices and collect outstanding amounts. We also maintain public records and provide assistance to anyone who needs to access these records.

  2. Tax assessing is primarily responsible for the listing and assessment of all taxable property, both real and personal property along with generating annual tax liability.
