It is the mission of
the Ashe County Sheriff's Office to serve and protect the citizens
of Ashe County; to defend the innocent against deception; the weak
against oppression; the peaceful against violence and disorder; to
respect the constitutional rights of our citizens to life, liberty,
and justice; to perform our duties as Law Enforcement Officers with

The Ashe County Sheriff's Office is seeking
funding under the 2009 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance
Grant (JAG) Formula Program. From Uniform Crime Reporting
Statistics, Ashe County is entitled to $20,305.00 according to the
Bureau of Justice Assistance. The application is available for
review on line.
